Thinking about changing out the mufflers on my 7th gen (possibly Flowmaster 40 or 44 series?) Anybody done this that can give me some idea of if they liked it or not? i like the way that the stock exhaust sounds when it just starts, but then it quiets down after about 20 seconds. i basically want to hear the startup sound all the time lol.

I have been looking at spintech mufflers for my Monte. I personally don't care for the sound of flowmaster's but it's all a matter of opinion.

^Ha tadd you also have a pretty beefy 5.3, i have a stock 3.9 :/

 

I have two flows 44s with the resonator out and the sound is OK. Its not very loud with the resonator in and just a bit louder with it off. I'm thinking of maybe a better intake will make it louder. I have an exhaust video here somewhere. Ill look for it.
