Default Air intake for 2003 3.4l ls

this seems to be the only intake i could find for my car's engine out there on the internet...has anyone found anything else? i was really wanting to find a K&N intake but they only offer replacement filters, which i bought and think it's a great deal for under $50. it's not the effect i was wanting from an intake though. with the replacement filter i noticed a bit more hp but who doesnt want more power? any ideas on another air intake?

Make your own fenderwall intake (FWI)

You can use K&N cones and all. there are some write-ups around here.

x2 on making your own- its definitely doable for under the $180 they're chargning- a K&N cone is only like $50

Alright gentlemen! that sounds like a good plan! I'll order all the materials and see what i can get at autozone or advance autoparts. has anyone done this to their monte?

Lots of people have done FWI's (tube into the fenderwell), few people have ever made their own CAI box though- its just a lot more fab work, and the benefit of a cai box (short intake length) is really only important on the L67 anyways.
