Default 1977 Exhaust

I was looking for a new exhaust system online, and a site was offering a full kit, but the product was ment for a 1972/73 Monte Carlo. The site says it should fit but will that exhaust fit my 1977?

Yes an no.It will depend on if it's duel or single an your tranny crossmember.
73-77 single exhaust is the same.To go to duel you'll need the duoble hump cross member. All 77's have a single hump.

You can get a double hump x-member from summit racing for about $250 or modify yours or bend the exhaust pipe on the left under the x-member.
If you look close at my sig pic you can see the pipe sitting low under the x-member.Thats the cheapest way to do it but not the best
