Does anyone here know where to get a dual exhaust muffler only w/tail pipes? Thanks.

 

Not 100% sure what youre wanting but the exhaust from an SS will fit on the 6th gen 3400's. Just need to make some hangers for the side youre adding the muffler to.

Junkyard will probably be the cheapest option.

I’m new to the Monte Carlo life. I had an 84’ SS way back when. What is a 6th gen 3400?

 

6th generation is 00-05 year model. 3400 is the 3.4.

3.4s came with single muffler exhaust but its interchangeable with the 6th gen 3.8s that came with dual mufflers.

Not the entire exhaust, however. Just from the cat back.

Also, you may want to search "3400 u-bend delete"

 

Thanks man. That’s a huge help. So I can basically buy any after market cat back exhaust system and it’ll fit with some tweaks?

 

So that should fit with some hanger additions on the left side?
