I'm usually the one to find typos LOL! Since I'm in the graphics industry I always try and guess what type faces are on commercials and signs/billboards and proofread for errors.

 

Being a veteran, and a monte carlo enthusiast, it doesn't bother me. But are you trying to go for something different, being that heroes isn't spelled as is on the bar. How about: "The legend lives on ...!" or something of that nature?

 

I was going to mention the spelling error as well but i thought it looked photoshopped so i thought it was a test before it was actually applied. As others said i think if they are looking under the hood they should know its a tribute to dale sr.

I like the idea of asking the armed forces what they feel but i also like the idea of using racer or drivers instead of hero.

 

who cares? it's your car, do what you want. you think the hoosiers in their jacked-up trucks and confederate flags care what you think?

I've never seen a quote on a STB either so that was yet another one of my out of the box mods I'm in the process of doing (still can't wait for y'all to see what I got in store near the end of the summer). I realize Heros is misspelled...that is the way it was spelled on the graphic and to me the E in there messed with the flow lol & anyone who knows me knows my views on the troops so I'm most def not going off on them. I don't have the money to have it remade (I barely had money for this!) & idk if Andrea and Nick will be able to just make one word for it for me to replace it with so hopefully it will be okay for now. Just sucks bcuz I really liked that & I wish my mom wouldn't have said anything! I'm hoping people will be able to put together the connection of the tribute, my freaking license plate says legend for crying out loud, and the meaning of the quote (although I think I give the human race more credit then what they deserve sometimes)

 

As a Vet, it doesn't bother me in the least, Brittany. There are a lot of heroes from all walks of life out there.

I'm more bothered by the typo. The hazards of living with an English instructor for 20+ years...
