Mkk guys so this is one of my new mods I had that I was so excited for and thought it was a great idea but idk anymore after what my mom said. She read it & said that someone who is in the armed forces (or was) would get offended if they came up to the car & read this on the STB so I need to know y'alls opinions. I know there are people in the armed forces on here so I especially need y'alls opinions. Would it hurt you guys? Should I change it? Do you think it will be okay? I got it from a tribute graphic I saw for Senior a few months ago and thought it was a great phrase...here is a pic of it

 

It doesn't me but lets leave it to those hero's on here. I can see the your Mom's point though. You have to take it at face value, Its on an Earnhardt themed car.

kinda yes, kinda No? I understand the Dale Earnhardt Sr theme and after I read something like that I wouldn't give it a second thought as to who/what the saying was about! There is always gonna be somebody who has no clue what the intentions for it were though! I hope that makes some sense to you Brittany.... I know it confused me after I read it over again!

 

Personally I like it & wouldn't have givin it a second thought... Although when I think about it now it is important that our heroic folks in the armed forces that help keep us safe everyday have their say...

 

being on a dale car i know exactly what it is supposed to mean...but i could see some clueless person maybe taking it the wrong way idk

 

It doesn't belong there IMO.

 

If they can see it, then the hood is up and chances are the person is interested in the car. He/she will know its a tribute to dale, not spit in the face of armed forces.

 

I have to agree with Amy. Besides, "Heros" is spelled wrong.

How about "drivers" or "winners" maybe?
