Nothing against stick, i can drive a stick but i am an automatic guy! just less hassle.
I actually prefer the "Sport pack" in cars that has both! you can pop it out of automatic and shift it yourself (my girls Kia Sportage).
Then you have the best of both worlds

id like to have the automatic too.. i love the sport shifters like he was saying ^^^. my monte is slow so i really have no use for a 5 speed. and it is a hassle. i live in a very small town with a lot of lights and stop signs. i do have a harley so i get a little 5 speed action but it does get a little annoying after a while

I personally like standard transmission...I like to be involved in my driving.
Have anyone diven one with the double clutch type transmissions like on VW and other makes...I loook 4ward to testing one ?

I love manual transmissions, the T56 in my GTO is amazing with a short throw shifter, never driven a DCT car the EDGE has a 6 Speed with a Paddle Shift its nice but half the time i forget to shift it

I enjoy having both, and I see the pros and cons in both.
With that said, I think I would prefer to drive a manual, but again, I still love my automatic Monte

You are fortunate to have a Monte + a Harley 4-Sure
I've never been 2 Eustis, Fl in person, but I have on the Web...I hope 2 get over there someday in my future...I don't get out much LOL
