It did look different from the other ones. I don't know if it was Harbor Freight but thanks for the tip.

If I get a chance, I may see if I can find the info about the recall (GM also had a TSB about the recall, it was that important).

Attached is the TSB, from GM in 2007 regarding Harbor Freight fuses.

I remember when Harbor Freight issues the recall (lots of notices in their stores).

Packed in a 120 piece set, the fuse has a translucent, hard plastic, blue body with the amperage stamped into the top. There are no white painted numbers on the fuse to indicate amperage. There are no identifying marks on the fuse to tell who is making it. The fuses are known to be distributed by Harbor Freight Tools but there may be other marketers, and packaging of this style of fuse. It would be prudent to replace these fuses if found in a customers vehicle. Likewise, if wiring overheating is found you should check the fuse panel for the presence of this style of fuse.

Thanks for the info. That certainly describes the fuse that was in there that didn't blow. I'm sure that Harbor Freight won't do anything about it.

I did get the going again though after finding the harness in a junker and installing it.

Thanks again.

Glad to see the old girl staying on the road.
