Windshield Wiper Problem!
I don's know if this is the right place to put this thread but i really need some help with my '05 Monte!
First off ill explain the history... At first my wipers broke because of the snow. What happened was every time i would turn the wipers to the OFF switch, they would go to the middle at about a 1 to 2 o'clock position. so i would have to be driving around with them on the lowest setting instead of OFF.
THEN i had my neighbor replace the motor. so he fixed the OFF switch so the wipers went down to the default position. HOWEVER everytime i would want a delay between the wipers, they would be delayed with the wipers at that same 1 to 2 oclock position again!!!!! i WAS fine with that because i could always have them off, and if it was raining i could have it on either the low or high switch.
NOW the wipers are not even moving at all. The motor works and everything. the delay sounds fine too and the high and low switch. except the blades are not moving what so ever. i THINK ths transmission of the motor and the blade is messed up
so i looked around on thie site and tried to find a solution but nobody seems to have this problem. somebody said though tighten the bolt but that is clearly not the problem.
sorry for the long post and if its in the right place. i just need help bad because i cant stand driving in the rain without the wipers!

wwll sounds olmost to me like where it bolts up to the motor has either stripped owhere as lossened up to the point where it no longer graps probably again resulting in stripping out....
