cause hypertech sucks? go to DHP
http://www.digitalhorsepowerinc.com/

they have what is call the Power Tuner. not only does it reprogram PCM's it will read SES codes and scan all sensors on the car!
they also have a forum kinda like this one that you can ask questions about adjustment or even download PCM Bin files so you dont have to do anything except load them into the car.

i the ypercrap tnerIpsonallywish i would have spent lssonit andgotten a diffrent oe. there are betterchoices out tere and they all worksiulr to each other

Ilike what it dose for the car but i would everpay that again for a programmer. not enough help out of it to justify the cost of it.

I have a laptop program that i have now just have to find the cord to plug it in to the car then i will be good to go with it and i can read all the info on the car from the laptop.
And adjust it how i want to.

Hypertech is good for someone that just wants the basics, speedlimiter adjustments, shift points, shift firmness, ETC. DHP is much better as Phoenix mentioned to really get down into the heart of the programming end of things and will fine tune way better than Hypertech.
