True words space, I just personally don't understand it... most people I meet that do the wheels like that could care less about the car and more about the rims. That's just from my personal experiance. I spoke with someone one day about his 72 chevelle with the DUBs, car was perfect, wheels were gawdy... I didn't say anything to him about the wheels. He told me he didn't know anything about the car, his dad left it to him when he passed and the only thing he put on it was this set of $5000 wheels and the suspension lift to fit them.

I've seen worse in Cleveland, this one is "ok", sadly most who spend that much on wheels, sound system and paintjob forget about the rusted engine under the hood

i find myself doing a double take at older model bone stock cars now-a-days. recently i saw an 86 toyota pickup that was literally in mint condition. perfect exterior, interior, and a motor with 68k on it. it's car like that that get my attention now. anyone can dump money into a car to restore/improve it.
