Actually, this sounds more related to the brakes.

My memory took a while to snap to this thread, but mine made the same noise until I replaced my rotors and pads. I am pretty sure it was the rotors causing the noise but it's gone now. Do you have a slight warpage vibration in the wheel when you brake?

When is the last time you had brake service performed?

I would not experience the vibration mentioned unless I was really hard on the brakes. Under normal driving I did not feel the warpage.

Wile driving the car and the noise is present sway the car left to right. What you are doing is loading each wheel bearing left to right. If the noise starts and stops when you turn the wheel you have a bearing isse. When you are turning left you are loading the right wheel bearings, when turning right you are loading the left side. You want to sway the car a good amount and let the body roll to get weight to load the bearing. If the noise does not start and stop then it might not be a bearing.

No my brakes used to vibrate when I got on them hard, so I took it in and got carbon ceramic pads and the rotors re-surfaced. That solved that and they are great now. I also just got the wheels re-balanced and that fixed the high speed vibration I was having.
