What's your mpg?
was able to finally figure out my mpg last night since the new engine swap and cat replacement: 24.5 mpg.
city/back roads. rural areas mainly. i hate town and dont go anywhere that requires highway unless im going to pittsburgh. which is rare. that mileage is better than the old engine which i couldnt get more than 23 out of no matter what i did

Haven't had my car long, but, when I bought it, I had to drive it 400 miles back home! On the interstate, I averaged between 80 and 90 miles per hour and the car got 28mpg. When it switched back to 2 lane highway and got dark, I slowed 'er down to between 50 and 60 and got 32 the rest of the way. Tomorrow, I will have calculated in town gas mileage and will post!
Had a great opportunity to check my Monte's mpg with the trip to the GM nat's. Was doing 2300 rpm at 80 mph and pulled on average 23.5 mpg. Not bad for a built turbo car. would have loved to seen 1800rpm at 70 mph like Driver Number 3 gets on his Impala.
