Question What's your mpg?

Just curious as to what mpg you get out of your monte? There's the said mpg the dealer's say u get...but then there is the actual mpg based on where u live, how you drive and the gas you use. Curious as to which generation got better fuel mileage too.
I need to run a full tank on the "new" engine yet to see what I get. But on my old one I got 21/22 city/back roads. And about 28 highway. I have the basic 3.4 in my 03 and I just use regular unleaded. And since I live in PA I have a lot of hills and bends to conquer.
Please share if you know your mpg. This info could help someone know if their car is getting the proper mpg as well.

It depends really. I average about 22 after city driving but I can get 29 all day down the highway with my headers and cutout open . Only use 91+ octane and tend to have a heavy foot.

My 94 Cutlass (The equivalent of a 95-97 Monte Carlo) is getting 17mpg mixed BUT my trans sensor is bad and it will sometimes not give me 4th gear or kick me out of 4th. It's the 4T60E and it has the twin cam engine as well. I should be averaging 20 mixed but I need 4th for that. I did get 23mpg on the interstate at a constant 70mph BUT this was with 4th. Without it, it gave me 20mpg.

Lately about 14mpg or so. Need to dial in my tune a little more.

On the highway I'm still mid 20s, which is good.
