Not that I am disagreeing, but how can the supercharger add 180lbs?!? Or more accurately, 88 lbs over the SS. Any ideas as to what I am missing? I would also like to know the source of these specs.
I don't doubt the validity of this info as I always thought 3340 lbs seemed a little light for these cars. Obviously, if the GTP is lighter it wins. Unless like Chibi pointed out, the 5 years difference in the Monte and GTP result in wear out differnce...

How much should a stock 01 SS beat a stock 2004 LS with cold air intake by? i beat my friend by about 1 1/2 car lengths last nite in my stock 01ss

Dosent matter,you have more horsepower and tq then him even with CAI,so mostly around that amount on average id say

idk about that, was it from a dig? the 3400s suck from a dig but i've stayed head to head with a stock SS and I just had an intake, and I pulled away pretty hard from a rolling 30

it was from a red light we got upto around 85 on a 40 than we caught up to traffic.

Does the mustang have the upper hand? Yes, however what you guys fail to notice is that the mustang had 1 huge flaw. Traction, the mustang was always the car that made the worst traction among the muscle cars. That's where the monte has it's advantage, the monte is fwd so considering that it has all the weight being distributed to the front wheels making traction much easier where as the mustang is rwd and has no weight in the rear end and has so much torque that on take off it will just spin the tires no matter how hard you try not to. It's a drivers race for sure but in the end, the monte will win.

Alright so I have some good news. I beat him the first time with a straight run. Then he put his stage 2 nitros on and well I'd rather not say what happened there. Btw he is dumb cause he car has 100k with nitros on it. But I WON
