Just got my 2001 Monte Carlo SS from my uncle, but it needs some upgrades. What are there for engine options and maybe new seats?

If it's an SS it should have leather already, if not you could upgrade to the leather. Pace cars had black and grey leather seats and interior and also a black and red color combo. Both may be hard to come by.

 

The red 2000 pace car had two tone black and red interior, and the 2001 black pace car has the two tone black and grey interior. My 2002 pace car only has a black and grey two tone shifter **** and steering wheel, and I believe the 2003 pace cars are the same.

 

Welcome to the forum! I say start with under the hood stuff before the interior but that's just me. Do you already have leather? Get some pics when you can What color is your Monte?

 

Gordon & 02 Earnhardt cars also have the 2 tone black & grey interior

 

Welcome to the fourm ! I like those SLp grilles some of the members have put on their 2000 -2005 montes it just makes the car look more agressive.
