Very Nice!
I'm getting my CAI ordered sometime this week or in another week due to holiday season. I was also thinking of running Magnaflow's or Flowmaster's not sure yet. I also ordered from Jeg's magazine a Low Temp. Thermostat because that will help your LS motor be some wat cooler than it already is. Plus it only cost $25.99 n after shipping and handling like 30-33ish dollar's.

Is your exhaust system straight pipping...like the way it come's stock from the factory? With just a muffler at the end and straight pipping all the way down? I thought the newer Monte Carlo's have that O2 sensor before the cat? So that would throw the check engine light on wouldn't it?

You should think of saving up for a CAM. LoL,I know they are pricey n also because our motor's sit the way the other way...(FWD)...we have to take our WHOLE MOTOR OUT TO GET TO THE CAM

Had a new '06 SS, 5.3 liter 303 hp, white with silver ground effects & my signature pinstripe, "Intimidator" logos, ebony leather interior, and fully loaded. Again, I was a dumb-a** and traded this one in on an '08 Cobalt Sport when gas was pushing $5/gallon. @#$%!!!

Now own a new/used '07 SS, 5.3 liter 303 hp, white w/ silver ground effects, racing stripes, my signature pinstripe, & "Intimidator" logos, light grey leather interior(couldn't find one with ebony leather that was in good shape- long, long story), and fully loaded. NEVER getting rid of this car!!!
NICE!!! would love to see the new 07 SS when u take pix

Congrats on getting you an 07 SS in RED! I have only seen one RED ONE in my city. My city is pretty big n e more pix?

One question though?
Since you seem to know a good amount about SS. I was thinking of dropping my car just a tad bit because of the wheel gap. I was thinking of going with some lowering springs.

But then was told that after a while the stock shock's will obviously have major wear and tear. I honestly don't want to buy new shock's and such. Because the last time I did my suspension i did the whole suspension.

From coilover's to Tokico 4 to 1 gas shocks and a camber kit because i had dropped my car 2 and half inches all the way around. I loved the way it looked but here in Texas the street's are not meant for car's to be THAT LOW we have horrible pot hole's EVERYWHERE. I FELT EVERY SINGLE BUMP,DENT,CRACK,ETC. ON THE ROAD!!!

Just wanted to get your two cent's in on the whole lowering spring's idea. Others are welcome to input as well. I just want to ask other fellow 7th gen owner's what they think about that idea n if i should just stay stock shock's and spring's so that i can continue to have a smooth ride.
