That is my favorite; I've had smog techs back the car up to the rollers...lOl I'm partly to blame because I allow them to get that far...:laugh

It's even worse when you have staggered wheels that give that impression...lol

 

I had my nephew say "uncle davey has a race car!" And then the next day he brings me up a ferrari hot wheels and says "its your race car!"

An older friend of the family who gre up owneng a second and third gen monte was talking with me about the performance if my car. He said "well now you need some magnaflows and a better rear end on that thing" I told him it has borlas and its fwd. Haha the look on his face.

Not my car but the 7th gens at car shows iv heard "how did they get that in their side ways?"

Showing off my recently painted engine bay to my buddy, guy walks buy "oh! Does it have a hemi?!?"

Army pfc "Oh that has the V8 right?!"
Me: "uh...."
Army pfc "ill kick your *** I'm my gti, it has a turbo!"
Me: "its a v6, ill still kick your ***" and face palm.

At least yours was a legit mistake. I caught the cop in a straight up lie.
