WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?
I peronsally don't regret my 15% on the back and 35% on the fronts. 15% is dark enough that people can't really see into my back seat. Only problem is you just get the outline of the vehicle behind you, and the lights, so you gotta be careful of how you drive, incase its a cop. Just make sure to check your side mirrors often enough at night in order to see the cops behind you. And with 35% up front, looking from the outside in, you are able to see the person, able to see that they are wearing a seatbelt, pick up some key details about them, but thats really. From the inside looking out, its great, you still can pick out details of other cars and what not.
That is what I was looking for, dark in the back window so people can't see in so good but you are still able to see out the back window, and with the window's up front still be functional but have a little tint to it. You got any pics of your car with the tint?
Ok my 21st B-day was on Wed. and my g/f got me a gift certificate to get the back 3 window's tinted so now it's really time. I'm still not sure what I want to do. What do you guys think either 15%-20% on the back and 35% on the front or just 5% on the back?
After hearing everyones opinion, I think I would go 15% on the back 3 and 25% on the side 2. The guy I work with has 15% on his mazda speed 3 all the way around and it's a bit dark for my taste looking out the side windows. Looks good and can see through it fine out the back window. But for like parallel parking at night, he rolls down his side windows cuz its just too dark. He said he wish he would of did 25% on the sides.
I have decided I'm going to go with 5% on the back for now and then go with some tint on the side at a later time. Should look pretty sweet, I can't wait, It's getting itdone on Tues. at 8:30. Should have pics up of it for you guys then

Hey dustybird3 how well can you see out of the 20% in the back and 35% up front?

When my son first got his tinted when he was 16, he wanted 5% on the back of his (here 35% is as dark as you can go on the sides legally, but you can do what you want with the rest). The guy at the tint shop asked how long he'd been driving and since it wasn't long, he said if it was his kid, he wouldn't let him go that dark on the back. He said it's hard to see out esp. at night. But with the 35/20, it's not a problem.
I know 20/35 would be better for visablity, My buddy has 5% on his SRT4 and my other has it on his Blazer and I've been in both and I've been able to see fine, but I still have tell Tues. to make the final decison
