What did you do to your Monte Carlo today?

Ohh ya know I drive it so much I just never realize I racked on so many miles

no it pretty much sits in a storage shed, I was planning on driving it more this summer but that was before i knew the AC went out and most days are high 90s-115. I hope I can drive it more this fall. The trucks my DD so it sees most of the miles. Although working at a college and being broke/only getting unemployment in the summer has cut the mileage down I was putting on the truck. I use to put about 1,000 miles a month on it. Coming up on the 3rd and final month of our summer break I've put on only 2,000 miles in 3 months lol. However I did move (only 7 miles) away from the town I work in so this year I'll probably rack up more miles just driving that extra 7 miles there and back.

Totally agree there. Moneys always a big factor in everything. I just spent $102.34 on a few things for the truck, I have four bucks left to my name until thursday lol totally sucks only upside is the truck has a full tank.
As much as its funny to say we drove it or looked at it (and I'm not getting on anyone's case), maybe we should limit what's posted to only what you actually did (buying parts, making project plans, physical modding/cleaning) just so it really gets updated like it should. He daily blog might be the best for the other stuff. We should sticky this too!

Im doing the boarder galaxy silver with the mesh black. As for the bow tie badge not sure if i leave it red or go silver...
I'd say leave it red but thats just my opinion lol, maybe you could start a thread witha voting pole?

Nothing today, but i cleaned up the rims last night. I made the mistake and bought the Mothers mag alum polish. But tries it and it worked great. Clean and shiney. It poured last night/this morning and they still look great. Next time i will get the chrome cleaner and polish.
I bought it(97 LS) last month for $1500. I might have overpaid but I really wanted it.
So far i had the multi function switch fixed, got some better/newer tires put on, cleaned up the rims, replaced the gas cap, put in a new air filter and got an oil change done. Oh and my husband fixed and recharged the ac and I cleaned the inside out really good.
My next item to fix is why the anti lock light is on. I think its the LR hub. It had code of c1234, LR wheel speed circut open or shorted. Does that sound like its the back hub?
