I've never checked the MPG's with my snow tires on. Too depressing. But there is a big difference on my car. I'm running Toyo snow tires. They have a really soft compound. Like any other snow tire, they're loud and suck for gas mileage. But for their purpose, they do a great job in snow.

Last year we got so little snow, I could've kept my all seasons on.

When I do replace my all seasons in the spring. I'm going with a performance tire instead.

BTW... The winter rims are actually American Racing Casino wheels.

 

Still looks pretty sharp to me

 

Programmed my computer in Darlin after getting wonderful suggestions from Gary at Hypertech support. What a difference! Now she has enough goodies to pacify me until spring, when I intend to have either a supercharger or turbo installed. Suggestions? The tune eliminated the interior drone I was getting after intalling the 2-super 44's, 3" pipe, 12" glasspac and 2-4" tips. I have never heard a better sounding 6 cyl in my life, and I thought my '06Charger SXT sounded great with the Blastin Bobs pipes. Lovin my girl more every day.

 

I'm not complaining about the way my Monte looks. Just saying the gas mileage is going down because of the snow tires.

 

That would be a bummer. Any Idea of what it drops to? I havent driven mine in winter so never would know but It'd be cool to know what it'd drop down to. Do you put premium in yours? I get about 33mpg with premium in the summer.

 

I'll have to figure it out next time I fill up.

Cool! It'll be interesting to see what the differance is factoring in the snow tires. I was considering some Blizzaks at one point for the truck but decided against it since they don't come in any large sizes I want.

 

I'm definitely interested in seeing the difference in MPG also

 

Made someone smile today with the monte

A purple monte ss passed by as I'm pulling out of work..he gone onto the same turn as I was so at the light. As he was checking out the car I gave a little gas for him to hear. Just before it turned green he shouted out, "Nice Monte!"

Cleaned & waxed the monte today. Tried Meguiars ultimate paste wax for the first time and I love it more than the nxt gen paste! Unfortunatly with all her good looks...some birds decided to take a dump all over the trunk..

 

Finish breaking the flex off the flang,

Went to the gas station came out startered her poped it in reverse and it got deeper and louder...

Needless to say this mother F'er is loud now!!!!! Open MANIFOLD!
