Big day today..
Heading down to parents house to steal the driveway. Changing the monte's brakes all around and changing the front warped rotors. Going to buy a can of undercoating to preserve the undercarriage from any more rust (winter is almost here!)

Rotating rims& tires and polishing out the nasty coating of brake & rust dust from inside of the rim (going to look good!)
changing oil (again...) Looks like a little bit of cleaner was leftover from the engine flush. Synthetic oil already looks nasty at 2k. (will be my second synthetic)
Giving her a good wash....been a good two weeks.
Now time to haul my way too heavy tool box to the car..

 

Since the carpet is pulled. I scrubbed down the trunk walls and bottom. Getting it prepped for repainting the spare tire well. The fastener at the bottom of the well is rusty. I was thinking on getting that super spray that you can spray on a screen door and make it into a boat. I have a leak somewhere and I figured it has to be on an original welded line. Anybody use that miracle yet?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

 

Got the new nameplates put on. And have it a good dose of the skinny pedal. 2011 Mustang GT and 2005ish Grand Cherokee 3.7 were being wise guys on the highway. Smoked the Jeep and didn't really stand much chance against the Mustang.

Washed down the cabin while the carpet is out. Worked a little on cleaning theleather. not much suck-sess pool. any ideas on leather cleaner?

obviously in the only spot on NY Rt 25 that is NOT 40MPH....

Definitely fighting it. I was just driving with traffic.

Car still lokks good man, welcome back

 

Going to fill up the Monte probably Moday with my day off. Havent done much else to er recently. With winter drawing near the trucks getting a lot more focus. The truck got a new radio installed, went over parts of the frame I could reach with some Herculiner and cleaned all teh connections under the hood. Also got the exhaust tips on with some slight modification to the original length of them lol and next it'll be getting the used tires I got put on about the end of this month. My birthdays next month so I'm getting nerf bars for the truck since my grandparents said they'd go half in for them as a gift
