Finally lowered this car and im getting bad wobbles at low RPM under load. Id like to go to the junkyard today and get shorter dog bones but not sure which cars come with them. I assume theyre off a 3400 but still, unsure.

 

I'm pretty sure it's just the Montana van.

Have you flipped the mounts?

Make sure you can actually use shorter dogbones, I think with a set of headers you might not have the room.

 

I have poly for all the mounts and im really hoping I have the room, I read about the clearance issue. Looks like I have about an inch before the headers touch the fans. Even then, it looks like the only contact will be a piece of plastic sticking out. Looks easy enough to cut off. I guess if I have to, ill beat a dent into the headers.

Im kinda stuck here. I dont want to raise the car back up but I HAVE to get rid of this wobble. Any other options?

 

If the shorter dogbone does help the wobble but you dont' have the room because of the headers, you can also switch out the fans to a slimmer fan.

I run a slimmer fan set up because of my Novi blower, but I had a shop do the fan install for me while they were making me a custom bracket for the blower so I couldn't give you the full specifics of it
