Well it was a nice Monte.
Hi `Austin,
Thanks for reminding `us that there are many out there that don't have respect for their rides or themselves. There should be a law that requires driver's to maintain and keep their vehicles in good condition...
What
LOL
Vehicles like above could cause Road Rage or massive headaches to others that have to see it on the road...
Plus, it's bad for the enviroment...It pollutes `earth etc
Now, I did love the Camaro, but I would be stressed out owning/driving it knowing their are owners out there driving junked `out other rides like the T.S. Monte you posted...
Rides like that make me sick
...Thanks for creating activity on the MCF

The way most people look at it, they're not investments. They're "just cars." No concept of taking a little pride in their money pit (admit it, whether you mod or just use it as simple transportation, all cars are money pits). Just beat it to hell and then junk it, another one bites the dust. People quickly get bored with their cars and stop caring for them. Or, almost worse yet, people who have nice cars and "love them" but they never leave the garage. I mean did you forget what a car is? DRIVE IT!!!
Sadly the fate of most cars will be: start, roughly thrown in gear, commute stop-and-go for 5 miles, stop. Start again, jammed into gear, stop-and-go, pick up kids, dogs, etc, get filthy, worn. Repeat. Develop wear-and-tear issues. Neglected. After 5 years, sold. Repeat. Repeat. Junkyard. I bet the owner of the Tony Steward doesn't even know what he's driving.

I'm all worked up now. Getting off soapbox.

X2 , Sad because they only made 1,020 Tony Stewart Edition Monte Carlo's
Dang, I beat up mine, and that from being young and stupid. I have learned now that I have to pay. LOL. Some people take cars as merely transportion and not to worry about keeping it nice, some people are not as appreciative. They may also have kids. Try to give them benifit of the doubt. But that is heartbreaking. I would take the wheels of that Camaro. They are too small in the inside for me.

Very sad, I agree. Right now it pains me when I know there are so FEW gorgeous 3rd gen Camaros still in service ('82-'92), drive by one of the few on a nice day and the drive is puffing a cigarette in it. You want to look at them and say "com'on, there aren't many more of THESE left, treat her nicely man".
But some people see it as "just a car" and "just for now". They don't think about resale value or anything. Admittedly, yeah, cars are investments, some of the WORST (values are usually going down). But again, a little pride goes a LONG way. My '02 Grand Am GT is on the inverse of that TS Monte, it was a basket case that was trashed and now is looking like a reasonable car again! I've fixed some silly little things on it too, just because.
