well, i did it. i wrecked it
i was leaving my friends house in a hurry tonight, and due to my overly tinted windows, the rain and the fact that it was night... i backed up and swung the front end into my friends camaro. didnt even see it.
i didnt hit hard, but it pushed his door in a bit, it can be popped out.
i thought it didnt do anything to my car, but no. ofcourse not
it scuffed the bumper (which can be buffed out) took some red paint from the other car (can be buffed out) cracked the headlight (not noticable)
but it pushed the headlight in about a 1/4 inch and it doesnt shine straight now. if i needed to place a bulb, i couldnt even fit my hand behind it.
now i get to spend my day on the phone with the insurance company tomorrow to see how much i have to pay to fix this BS

That sucks. Make sure your friend's damages are properly repaired as well as yours. Sounds like it could have been worse, glad it wasn't.
And you just mentioned part of why I don't want heavily tinted windows on my Monte.... At night, hard to see out of....

I'm surprised that you and your friends are taking this well. My Monte was backed into by an old lady in my driveway and I became unglued, especially since she wasn't there when I found out. All is well now though.
On a brighter note, it doesn't sound like your Monte is wrecked, just damaged

If the damage is not that bad you may want to just fix it out of you pocket and leave the insurance company out of it. A few hundred dollars of insurance money isn't really worth the increased premiums for an at fault accident.
