Warranty Covers Rick's Bad Switch!
Yes!!! No more fussing around trying to get my Multifunction Switch in and out. The Extended Warranty the PO got and transferred to me COVERS the Turn Signal Switch.
I just left the Dealership. They called the Warranty Company and the repair work was approved.
I feel so much better now!

Oh, yea ... and maybe with some of the money I saved on this job ... I can either find a pair of Fog Lights ... or, go looking for a Chevy Bow-Tie Exhaust Tip. I think they are so cool.
I was spending so much time under my dash tracing power with the Test Light ... I was thinking about having my Mail forwarded there. At least I got a good look at the under-dash wiring and fittings. It won't be strange to me if I have to crawl back in there in the future. The biggest problem was me! I'm a real BIG Fellow. XXL. The space beneath that dash was like getting am M-R-I. I was having to fight off the claustrophobia. Trying to get inn and out was like doing stunt work. I had to put my arms togethehr over my head like I was saying a Prayer and "Dive-in". Then, once I was in there ... I was shoe-horned in under the dash. I really was crammed-in there good.
For all it was worth, it's working-out for the best.
The Forum People really came to the Rescue. Special thanks to 2000LS who was right there on the phone when it got the most confusing and Posted the Wiring Scheme when I really needed it the most.
Not that I have seen how it all goes together ... I have come to realize that it wouldn't take all that much "Patching" to run Low Beams when the High Beams are ON.
The wiring for the Headlights are bundled down in there and adding a Switchable Relay and a Fuse wouldn't be all that much of a chore ... although I doubt I'm going to crawl down in under the dash with a Soldering Iron.

Congrats!
I'm a pretty big guy as well, and I know exactly what ur saying... I mean I had the seats all the way back, while I was trying to get to my stereo. Turns out all I had to do was pry off the trim plate and 6 screws later, voila'!
who knew? But yes, before I had that done I had both door trim pieces off, the plastic and metal shin guard pieces off, one switch housing for the lights and trunk and all, the glove box was out, and the peices all around it, the middle trim piece, not with the airbag but where the vents are... then I finally went online and found a tutorial for some sattelite radio mount.... had it done in like 6 minutes if that.... lmao.
Oh well, live and learn, right?
I had so many pieces of my car on the driveway ppl walking by would be like what happened?

The Radio in my 04 Monte is hooked-up to various functions and features ... I guess I'm stuck with what I got. It's got this nice feature that turns down the volume as you slow down and the road and tires noise diminishes. That and its an AM/FM/Tape/CD Unit all in one.
I think just adding some better speakers in the doors will do the Tunes Trick for what I need.
I'm bringing all the parts in with me and letting the Tech have the pleasure of putting everything back where it belongs.
For all you took out ... that must be some Sound Machine!
