i wish they would go back to like the '60's and 70's where the cars had to be the real car... heck we would be sitting on 400-450 hp cars right now..... RWD too....
And they would cost us about $45k.

Ironically Grandpa Dave, in Canada, a new Monte SS is about $45k now. With the current exchange rate being about even, that's the same in US or Canadian dollars.

Seems steep? You build them there but you still have to pay inport taxes?

I place an order threw Action Sports Image for a t-shirt and a 1/64 scale NASCAR. When the order was place I was at the understanding that the full order was going to be processed. I was charged the full amount and left waiting the products. So I received an e-mail the other day informing me the t-shirt I ordered was out of stock. So I said I would take the next size up at the same price. Than I received another e-mail stating that it was discontinued. That is where the issue started. I was expecting a t-shirt that I ordered and I was told a week later that the t-shirt was out of stock and would not be reordered. I than asked why the system let me order something that was out of stock. The response was that the ordering system and the inventory system was on 2 different system. In this day and age I find that very hard to believe. Either that or they have a very incompantant(sp) web designer. So either way this is a warning USE THAT COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
This isn't too suprising really. Transunion spits out the same confirmation numbers for credit checks even though it isn't supposed to. I was getting in trouble at my old job for using the same confirmation number until they ran a report and found out that in the last 6 months that same "unique" number was used in excess of 3500 times!!! Scary that these guys control your credit score.

Also my previous employer which is a huge cable company didn't know what there actual revenue was until 2 years ago. Previous to this they would take a snapshot of what they were spending in the month and what they were receiving, but it didn't include people that would have disconnected, downgraded, installed or upgraded service that day.

The database was so horrible that the company that owns it said it couldn't be done. Well my friend and another coworker figured a way to do it in SQL and kind of slapped alot of people in the face by doing so. Damn thing has over 50 queries and filters to run, but works.

Now going back, how do you have a company in business for over a decade that doesn't have any clue how much money they are making? Upper management had literally no clue whether they were being profitable or not!?!?! Maybe that is why their stock is at $1.20.

Hey Duane. I think the same thing every time I pay for an order coming from the US or Mex.
"So much for Free Trade huh?"
