Wanting to sell the Monte
The reason this isn't in the classifieds section is because it's not a final sale yet, I'm just seeing what some people are willing to pay for this car.
Anyways here are the details:
1985 Monte Carlo CL
184 xxx kms
305 c.i. LE9 165HP stock
Holley 570 CFM Double Pumper Carburetor
Edelbrock Intake Manifold
Headers
Dual Exhaust w/ Magnaflow Mufflers
200-4R Automatic Transmission
Interior completely redone excluding dash less than 2000kms ago
Brand new rear brakes less than 500kms ago
Alpine Type S Speakers all around
Brand New Pioneer DEH-P4100UB deck
Problems:
Most of the problems are easy to fix.
Leaks from front oil pan seal, thermostat housing, water pump, and fuel pump, transmission lines
Spun out and slid into a sign and put a fairly large dent in the driver side fender a few inches away from the door. But I have a whole front clip to go with the car.
Some surface rust a very little but a bit of cancer in the rear wheel wells
I really don't want to sell this car but I can't really afford it, it's really fun to drive and it's pretty fast. I'm looking to get $1700 w/o the stereo or $1900 w/ the deck. There are pictures in my albums, and I will try to get more later this week. I'm looking for input from everyone, not just potential buyers.

The price you have listed sounds fair, as long as the body damage is not that bad. People are really looking for the 80s SS models, and are asking a lot of money for one in good shape. Some younger guy with the dreams of making a killer street machine will probably take it off your hands.

Hi `Blake,
Sorry that you are thinking of selling your Monte, but we all have to do,
what we all have 2 do : (
I think pictures of the damage would help in your sales.
Below is a Map where Blake & his Monte resides : )
It's another paradise on Planet `Earth
4-Sure
Alberta, Canada - Lake Louise
Good Luck `Blake
