Well so my Monte is back from the shop, her turbo retro-fit completed. We did a couple blasts around the parking lot which was kind of fun. On the video where I smoked my tires you hear the engine cutting out while cornering. Matt said I failed to switch off the "Launch Controller" and when I was braking it was telling it to limit my boost to 3500rpm (Rev limiter) and then I'm simultaneously trying to accelerate out of the corners causing all kind of havoc. So thats why all the cutting out, next time I will need to remember to switch it off, but in all fairness it was my first time in 7 months driving the car. Cherry mistake... But it was cool pushing her around the lot, had to keep it short so the facility security did not come over to us and make a problem.

 

Nice - I'll bet it felt good to slide behind the wheel after all this time.

Looks like a nice ride, and a fast one.

But you better be careful, last time I saw a car get up to speeds like that in a parking lot, it seemed to catch fire then disappear, only to re appear in 1955
