If you're sticking N/A for your car absolutely avoid the 3 inch downpipe, you lose back pressure, which will cause a loss in low end torque, meaning your car will begin to lose power at low RPM ranges. That is why I also advise you to avoid the SLP powerflow cat back exhaust, I believe it may be a straight pipe design, and this will furtherly reduce your back pressure (low end torque). Get the 2.5 inch 304 stainless steel bolt on with hi-flow cat, look to gain 3-5HP with this and a change in your exhaust note.

If you go out and look at your car, remove the engine cover (unscrew the oil fill adaptor and the cover pops off)- now look at the very top of the engine, the part the throttle body bolts onto- it looks like a black plastic piece; the HV3 goes UNDER that. So look at the stuff that would need to remove all the bolts to get that off (fuel rail?, can't think of what else off the top of my head, I'm not as familiar with the NA 3800 mods).

damn your right i was just checking the zzp downpipe page and just noticed it says "fixes the u-bend problem"
im ordering the downpipe on sunday the 2.5 bolt in with cat with rear O2 bung...

lovin my new PCM by the way took me a few tries to get my car to start after installation but makes the car perform waaayy better with the mods i have... shifts much faster and cleaner and the higher shift points make the car pull more when you shift up.... best $100 to spend if you have other mods

Only if you have a supercharger or turbocharger. Technically you dont have to use 91 octane if you dont have either of these but it kinda defeats the purpose of getting the pcm. The pcm is programmed to run on a higher octane and running it on a lower octane like 87 MIGHT hurt performance but definetly wont raise performance. 89 octane is recomended if you have a cam. Just give an extra 30 cents a gallon for the higher octane trust me its worth it.
PS: im speaking off knowing the ZZP pcm which in my eyes gives you the best bang and the best features for your buck.

Ahh, thanks for the insight on the PCM. What sort of exhaust system are you looking to add? If I may, www.pfyc.com sells two AWESOME exhaust systems. The Dynomax and the SLP Powerflo, they don't add much for power, but the sound is amazing. Personally, I think the SLP one sounds better, plus uses 304 Stainless Steel, AND has a lifetime warranty.
