RE: Trunk Lid Liner
PFYCs reply....
I have a feeling that more and more places that make stuff for our cars are going to be either going out of business, or discontinuing the monte-specific products.....
If only I could predict which ones are gonna be around in six months, and which ones are going to fold......
If it turns out, please do post up some pics.
Ditto. I am very interested as well, and would rather support an MCF member than anyone else at this point.

Hi Ryan:
The company suddenly went out of business and they are no longer
available. I wish I had another source for them, but I do not. Sorry
for the bad news.

RE: Trunk Lid Liner
Just to throw this out.
If you need any additional pics I have a lid liner still in the box. Since the instructions say to install it when the temperature is at least 70 degrees.
which is going to be a week or two around here.

I'm guessing the adhesive doesn;t set well at colder temps.

RE: Trunk Lid Liner
I peeled mine off the trunk lid last night in the 20 degree temps. The first layer of tape stayed stuck to the lid. I was surprised and relieved. Thought for sure the glue was going to let go in the cold.
The liner is kind of dog bone shaped. I'll try to post a couple smaller pics here just for reference.

RE: Trunk Lid Liner
The liner is actually a piece of vinyl glued to ridgid automotive insulation. It's about a quarter of an inch thick, and is not flexible.
This version doesn't do much for insulating anything. I would say it's for visual effect only. I suggested to the guys that wanted to try it, that they use different/better materials if they want to improve the insulating value of the liner.
