Does anybody know what other transmissions will fit my 07 ss 5.3 ? Will the 6cyl trans work? Thanks for the help

 

What are you looking for? Manual, auto, something stronger, something cheap to get it back on the road again, etc?

There are multiple FWD transmissions that will bolt up with varying levels of modification to make them work. The trans from a 6 cyl can be made to work, but if your trans is blown and you're looking for a replacement, I'd just get your current trans rebuilt by a 4t65 specific shop like triple edge.
