transmission coolers????

You shouldn't have a problem with the trans fluid getting too hot. Adding a cooler is just adding additional places for possible leaks. I've never experienced any overheating of my transmission in the past 3 years. If you plan to do track runs all weekend long, you might want to consider additional cooling. I personally still wouldn't do it. The risk seems to outweigh the reward. Nothing to gain, and a lot to lose if something goes wrong, IMO.

Trans cooler is built into the radiator but it is not a bad idea to add a external one becuase heat is transmisions enemy,
I have one on my 01 that i stole from my 85 but that was becuase the replacement radiator i bought was missing the fittings so i could not use that and could't have my car down n out any longer!

I run 2 external tranny coolers, 1 engine oil cooler and a fuel cooler. Heat is your tranny's enemy, an external cooler will add to the life of your tranny in the long run......
