How often do you guys change your transmission fluid? I have a 98 monte with about 60,000 miles on it and was just wondering if it was about time to change the fluid.

 

Changing trans fluid is the best maintenance you can do on your tranny. Change it now. It's not that expensive, a little messy perhaps, but that what they make coveralls and shop rags for. I try to do mine every 50K on all my rigs.

 

I change mine every 30K....

 

There is a new tranny fluid out.. Dexron 6.

Only the dealerships have it right now.[&:]
