Default Traction Control

Can someone tell me, what does it mean when the traction control light comes on, on your dash?

Does this mean one of the front hubs is bad? Or is it another issue?

We were driving the '03 Pace car home from Owensville (Cincinnati). We stopped to a bite to eat and while leaving the light came on so did a light saying "Service traction control."

Either a hub, or a wire connection to the hub. Did the ABS light trigger too?

If the ABS light triggers also, it will grab a code that you can have read to find out which hub it is. Then you can check that wiring harness

Weird...Mine did the exact same thing a few days ago. But, it only stayed on until the car was shut-off. Went out the next morning, and no lights, no problems...Hmmm. Hopefully it's nothing too bad.

Mine (my 05) comes on sporadically but it goes away the next time I turn on the car. I'm guessing dirty contacts or something. Only happens a couple of times a year though - not too concerned yet.

See I did the same. I pulled over, shut the car off, and re-started. No light.

A few days or a week later went to use the car. As soon as we pulled away from the garage the was like a slipping noise momentarily, the light came on again then went out.

So if I have AZ or Advanced read the car, they should be able to tell me which hub it is?
