I can't see a L67 breaking 140-145ish stock. Maybe if there wasa long flatway and you could run it out.

I don't see how anyone with a stock monte carlo (00-05) can go above 110-112 in a stock monte.
I have a supercharged monte and my govern is on and it stops EVERYTIME at 110-112.
The only way you can go over that speed is if you have the govern taken off or you get a PCM or something.
I have tried and tried to gofaster than that but it doesn't work it just stays at 110-112 EVERYTIME.
It's just hard to believe that anyone with this car can go faster than that unless u bought it used and someone got a PCM flash, removed the governor or something of that nature.

I mean I-480 is a long straight away. like i said before i have maxed my car out a lot. i never go over 112. i have held that same speed for about 30 seconds and it won't go over.
i don't know why they would make the same car but some of them are faster than others expecially because my car is supercharged. it just doesn't sound right.

Take it to a dyno shop have your pcm reflash $350.00 and then you can do 126 MPH and then 4 grand for a motor, now that is a good reward for doing 126 MPH. and you might get a funeral to boot for $350.00 now that is not a bad trade off.[sm=dontgetit.gif][sm=signs003.gif]but doing 70 mph will accomplished the same. Everyone has there way of doing things different.
