Whats the top speed of a 2004 monte supercharged?

don't those speedo's go up to 140MPH? I know the Monte in the upper left of your screen by the Monte Carlo Forum banner does (I don't know what year it is). I did a little math a while ago and figured if you let your Monte upshift into overdrive, and you don't have a limiter, and can feather the accelerator until you reach 6000RPM, and not kick back down into passing gear, you should be able to reach around 160MPH, unless the gearing prohibits it. I know there's a lot of "if's" and "ands" in there. whaddayagonna do.

 

Any particular reason why it matters? I'm just curious. If you can't take it on the Autoban it really doesn't matter if it can go over 90 MPH. Unless, of course, you intend on racing it.

 

Fast enough. My LS with speed limiter will go ~110mph and my friend's SS N/A with no speed limiter maxed out the stock speedo.

 

Speed limiter is set to 125. It holds 125 easily. I've had mine to 135 a couple of times on the freeway. Next time I'm going to peg the speedo, I KNOW it will.

 

when mine was stock i think it max out between 115-120 mph
