I know the feeling I bought my 02 SS back in Nov and already have little over $1,300 in repairs and $600 in tires and $150 in blubs. I say give it one more chance with a Monte in better shape hope it works out for you !

I haven't had any issues with mine either.. I had the LIM gasket replaced (when car was under warranty still) but to be honest, the engine has been more reliable than the electrical system..

It really is. I really think it's all up to how well the car has been maintained, I mean, mine has 62k (but the previous owner didn't drive it much) so mines in better shape than others. But with any cars you have to expect problems.

Well I sold her yesterday for $3600. I'm kind of sad to see her go. Now I'm back looking.

I'd go with another monte! And get a ss so you dont have to deal with the 3400 motor.We had one in our impala had to change head gaskets in 2009,guy who owns it now helps me work on quads,trucks,etc and he just changed the head gaskets last saturday again!
