Swapping cluster

Can you swap a 01 dash cluster/speedometer board with an 04. I want to put my Special edition cluster from my pace car in my Supercharged.

If all u want is the special edition part u can swap the center overlay, just rmbr to put ur needle back in the right spot

I was hoping to avoid that. I dont want to chance screwing any thing up. What is the chance of screwing things up? Any fastened parts I should worry about.

Ive nvr done it on the monte but on my sierra all i had to do was pull the needles & it came off easy nothin was holding it on but the needles

I thought the overlay was all one piece, having the info for all the guages in the cluster, on the same overlay. Wouldn't the supercharger's boost guage then be wrongly re-labelled as a "VOLTS" guage?

The speedo is its own as well as each side is, atleast on mine it is i hadda pull my lense off to clean it a few months ago & found this out

I just did some looking on Speed Hut. I was wrong. The overlays are not all one big piece. It's actually 3 pieces. The Speedo, the Tach, and the four small guages on the left side.
