Default Sub Issue

i got a little problem her, i had a sub out of the box and some dumbass pushed it up against the sub that i was using so now the rubber on my current sub is a little rubbed off but not completely punctured, does anyone think this will pose a future problem? i can post pics tomorrow but i gave a pretty good explanation i think haha

If your talking about the rubber on the surround, then just a little bit of it rubbed off should not be a problem at all. Just watch it in the cold winter and how loud you go with them. If you are going to have a problem it will be when the rubber is cold and it might crack in that spot. I do remember seeing somewhere a quick fix for the rubber surrounds but i cant find it right now. I will give it another look tomorrow after work.

id need to see pics, just seems hard that it woulda worn off and not just dent it. what sub was it. is it where the sub moves in and out, that might be a future problem and might not last as long.

its a type-r so it has the rigid rubber, so i didnt think it would do too much, i plan on storing it in a normal temp place during the winter anyways because cold really isnt good for the sub, and its not a dent, its just minimal rubbing where some rubber came off, pics will be up tomorrow if i find time between installing my leds and work lol
