to bad I can't walk out and check those codes at 1 in the morning if know of any tell tale signs that I do or do not have a stock amp let me know

Didnt even have to walk outside http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs...onte-Carlo.pdf page 17 states a head unit equipped with a cassette player and cd player has an amp. Sorry boys you can take this down!
