Default sound system

I'm getting ready to put in my sound system soon, and i've been working out some things, i'm not entirly sure where to run the lines yet, it's a relatively short run from the battery to the rear seat compared to some runs i've done, in my last car i ran them in floor corner panels, which i see pop right out, with a seamless mounting mechanism, but the room seems very very limited. there is always the option to run them under the carpet i suppose, what have some of you guys done?

sorry, some details

04' monte super silver 6 cyl 3.4 L coup, looking to put in 2 sets of 6" 1\2 comps,

some other things i was woundering was the deapth of the door speakers that can fit with out any modding, and if a standard set of after market comps with 1" tweeters will fit down in the door panel, i see my stock system looks to have 2 ways up front i can't truly tell but it looks liek theirs a spot for a tweeter down there.

To run your live wire from the Batt to the trunk you can use the grommet located on the passenger side, below the knee panel. If you pull on the carpet you'll find it. It can be a pain if you're running 0/1 gauge.

On the doors there's a hole for a tweeter. I don't know the diameter.

interesting, will a 1\0 fit in the corner panels? or anything for that matter, they look rather tight.

I just went under the car. I had to run so many other wires in the car for my system I found that was the best so there was no interference. I just used a grommet to enter the rear or the car so nothing scrapped. Works perfect!

I don't know what corners you're referring to since there are many in the car. Anyway, good luck with it.

I believe i've thought of a very simple solution, that'll work both for the power line and the rca's, to run them down the center concol, in that way only running them for a short distance through the carpet, and hopfully my new speaker wires will fit down the corner panels, they are tight but should be able to fit a single 14\2 cable down them, i'll probobly mount my passive cross overs up on the rear seat with the amps, so i'll need to fit the 18\2 wire down the corner panels with the 14\2 as well. anybody ever run them like this?

also, will i be losing programing ability of my car, like the horn beep mode for locking, and all that stuff.
