Default sound system

i want to get a new batt for my car because when my system hits my lights flicker hard core. I wanted to know if anyone knew a good brand batt to replace my stock one with for my system. I also heard that in some cases you might have to change the alt wires and the alt and crap but i know alot of people that have not done this and worked out fine so any opinions on the subject would be great

There's a sticky thread called the Big 3 Upgrade, you can look into that.

I've also heard good things about Ultima Yellow-tops for people running a lot of electronics.

in addition to the big 3 upgrade, get a deep cycle battery, a BIG one. Either an Optima yellow top, or an Interstate. I have an Optima red top under the hood, and a yellow top in the trunk. I have a friend that had 3 batteries. Some go to capacitors, and that will help, but they are REALLY expensive, and IMO, they are a band-aid.
