i almost got stranded 3 times yesterday because my monte wouldnt start. the information screen flashes between the red battery light, and the orange security light. it wont even turn over. i know its not the battery because the radio and lights come on. i know its a pretty common problem cuz iv been reading up on it. some people say its the key, and others say its the ignition switch.


if anybody has gone through this, please tell me what i need to do

 

had this problem on my 02 when i first got it, never had the problem after i replaced the starter so that could be it. . . . i think mine had somehting to do with the remote start tho. . . good luck
