😂 Yeah those terminal covers looked real messed up. I have no clue how they got like that. That's how they were after I got the car. Glad you mentioned to put the terminal protector grease after the terminals have been tightened down. I was going to put it in the front, middle and back of the terminals.
Did you have a similar charging issue? Is that why you took your terminal covers off?

Aftermarket terminal bolts that never fit right with the covers.

Oh okay. Glad it wasn't a charging issue like I had. You can't imagine how much grief I went through trying to get this thing figured out.

Good find! And a simple issue. Just a thought, I personally would replace those protectors and make sure the lugs you are using are correct for those cables with the protectors.

I might just do that. I found these on eBay
