So Comfortable....

RE: So Comfortable....
Got a little off subject again guys?
Sure. I've got comfy in the Monte. What's wrong with that? It's nice lay the seat back a little. Listen to thestereo to help relax from a stressful week at work.
Man the 8speaker system is great. Thenyou get to thinking "So where's all 8 speakers mounted?"
A little research you then learn the back two speakers are actually 4. They're a 2in 1 design. But you can buyspeakers like that at Wally World. (did GM buy speakers at Wally World to save a buck?)
I've had to sleep in my car before. Infact I had to live in it for a time.

RE: So Comfortable....
Over the summer I was cleaning up my car with it parked in my yard... Got itall done and sat in the seat with the radio on. I had the windows down and the sunroof open, and it was a nice 80 degree day. I was tired from cleaning it, and I guess the music just coaxed me to sleep. Anyways, woke up like 3 hours later to a night sky anda dead battery.
Funny thing is that's not the first time its happened to me...

RE: So Comfortable....
I "live" 2 hours a day commuting in my Intimidator SS. I WANTcomfy! I enjoy my heated leather seats and my 600 watt, 17 speaker (3-ways, 4-ways, factory tweeters, and a 12" sub) sound system. I enjoy listening to my Sirius radio and CD's. My XM isn't active.
I worked an "all nighter" 2 nights ago. About 4:30 in the morning I was able to take a break. I went to my car, grabbed a blanket from the trunk, (never know when you might need a blanket), started it up and napped for a half hour. It was 25 degrees outside, but I was comfy in my Monte. A co-worker pounded on my window to wake me up when I asked him to, and life went on.

RE: So Comfortable....
The most comfortable road car I've ever owned? Well, #1 has got to be the 97 Aurora - when it wasn't in the shop, that is. #2 is a tie between my Lincoln Mark VIII LSC (MSRP $41,000 in 97) and my 2006 SS. To be fair, I've never taken the Monte on a trip longer than 30 miles, one-way.
