I have a l36 and use 87octane but once and awhile I will mix the 87 and 93 together helps clean thins out . I was watching a show about gas and they said that if you mix the 87 and 93 together you will get a higher octane so they said not a chemist .

I live in NY on LI, and I pay 4.00 a gallon for 93 octane gas at shell every time I get gas d=

Takes me around 70-75 dollars to fit 15.7-18 gallons in my tank. When I run the tank low(like 100 miles after gas light) I use gumout on the way to the gas station once in a while. Only do that at that time where im so broke but I still need to get to work lol.

You 3.5L engine runs best on 87. 92 would detonate too late and you probably are going to have a lot of unburnt fuel passing through.

Use what your car is set-up for.

Plus you're paying more for gas than you have to. Unless you do some engine mods, like adding a turbo or supercharger for example, regular gas is the way to go.

GM likes to change the name of the colors. Especially with the more expensive models. That way they can advertise it as being exclusive to that model. Marketting goes a long way.
