What octane do you use? I have the 3.5 Flex engine in my 07 and I use 92 premium.

 

i use premium in my 07 ss. been told it does and doesnt make a difference. so?

 

I only use premium in my GTO everything else i use regular

 

i dont see the point unless you have a pcm tune.

 

i would pry just put regular in it.

 

I use regular...Is your car the same color as mine? Mine is called Black Amethyst. Not sure about lunar quartz.

 

it might i think the caddys that have your color on them are called lunar quartz.

 

Regular unless the owner's manual/the manufacturer or the inside of the fuel filler door specifies premium (at least it did on other cars I know that require premium).

 

Your purple (Black Amethyst) is in the brochure but mine isn't and I can't figure out why. I can imagine why they would offer two different purples on 07 that are so similar. I've only see your color on SS cars though. Mine's an LT that decoded as 1 of 1? There's no way that can be right.

 

But I don't get any Monte info on the web for this color, only Caddy.
