Almost sounds like the cable swivel is in the 3 speed position instead of the 4 speed (or 3 speed with OD) on the shifter bracket if it is not going into Park properly. Or maybe this could be the the cause of your adjustment issue "

B&M QuickSilver Shifter with the GM
4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E, and 4L85E


equipped with a PRNDL switch you will


need optional accessory kit #75498 otherwise


you can use the supplied GM

I can understand that, most here want to have a little something done unique to their Monte. Best of luck, hope this goes well for you. Should be pretty sick...

Ya those instructions came with the shifter i got but its for rear wheel drive transmissions. The adjustment works the same way its just done a little differently and in a different spot.

ok so the walkthrough is complete i have it all typed up on microsoft word but idk how to post it. can i make a new thread with a link to down load the file at all? Can someone help me here lol

Click "go advanced" button below.
Then scroll down and click manage attachments
Upload your file.
Right click on link then choose "copy shortcut"
go back up into your message and left click one time, then right click and choose paste.
Then post.
