I'm glad you are OK. Black ice can be very tricky

monte + black ice = bad day, i know! ... luckily everything went better for you than forme!

**** black icein anything is scary enough. In my first car it was an s10, 5speedbeefed up a little bit, wide tires. I was drivng down a country road and there ditches on each side. There was a little curve in the road and Iwent around thecurve caught black ices, back tires started spinning, back of the truck started coming around I turned to the right and the truck slide into the ditch to the right, almost hit a pollin the ditchturned to the left hard, downshifted and when I came out of the ditch went airbournelanded into the roatand onto the other ditch with justthe back tires, kept it floored and then drove out of it onto the road. Scary **** to say the least

 

I've slid out onto the highway from the road outta my house due to ice one more than one occasion, not very fun when you see a vehicle coming at you.


Then again, I love ice when I'm out on my quad, that 400ex has enough in it to top it out at 70 in 5th gear before I even start moving.

 

i would have done that as well as I usually have a yellow rotating caution light in my trunk but i was late for school
